Turku Tourism Academy was founded in 2004 to become the network for higher education institutes teaching tourism and culture in Turku region.
Our vision is to be a multidiciplinary network conducting tourism related research and to educate future professionals for tourism research and management. Furthermore we will work in close contact with local tourism industry for developing Turku region in a sustainable manner.
Our mission: The network of Turku Tourism Academy, tourism industry and public sector will work in close co-operation with the means of research, education and industry networking.
The members of Turku Tourism Acedemy are: University of Turku, Åbo Akademi, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Humak University of Applied Sciences and Turku Touring/OSKE Center of Expertice. To find the contact details please click here.
BrandDay -Turku2011
Will be held on 16 September in Turku. The organizer of the seminar is Turku Tourism Academy. The target group will partly consist students from different universities and professionals at the tourism sector both private and public sector. The key-note speakers are: Professor Dr. Nicholas Adjouri from Adjouri GmbH, Berlin and Doctor of Science Ulla Hakala from University of Turku, The School of Economics. The seminar is free of charge.
