Turku Tourism Academy (Finland) was founded in 2004 to become the network for higher education institutes teaching tourism, hospitality and cultural studies in Turku and Pori regions, South-West Finland.

Our vision is to be a multidiciplinary network conducting tourism related research and to educate future professionals for tourism research and management. Furthermore we will work in close contact with local tourism industry for developing the regions in a sustainable manner.

Our mission: The network of Turku Tourism Academy, tourism industry and public sector will work in close co-operation with the means of research, education and industry networking.

The members of Turku Tourism Acedemy are: University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Humak University of Applied Sciences, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, and the City of Turku / Visit Turku.
